One has to clear either K-CET or COMED-K for getting admission in undergraduate engineering courses. K-CET is conducted for the students living in Karnataka state whereas COMED-K is for students from other states and Karnataka. 20% of the seats are allotted to students appearing through RV College of Engineering Management Quota Admission process. Students willing to opt a management seat have to pay a donation fee, other than the regular tuition fee. Also, they must score more than 45% in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry in their 10+2.
RVCE Admission in Post Graduate Engineering course,M.Tech is based on the PGCET or GATE scores whereas admission in MCA depends on KMAT or PGCET scores. To gain admission into M.Tech, the applicant should be a B.E. or B.Tech graduate whereas to get admission into MCA, the candidate should be a graduate/ BCA graduate.
